An introduction....

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm 69 years old. I have five children, ranging in age from 42 to 33. I don't pretend to have an answer, but I do have an opinion - and I'll bet you've got an opinion, as well.
It just seems to me that we older women are pretty much cast to the side when it comes to politics, fashion, lifestyle. What do we do know? Our life experiences mean nothing.
Well, I think it's time that we crusty old broads start blogging. I'm here whenever you want to talk.

This is a blog devoted to women who don't identify themselves with the powerful. We are the women who dropped out of the Red Hat Society because we don't really like wearing purple with a red that doesn't go - especially when it becomes a uniform.
This is a blog dedicated to those of us who consider ourselves to be "old girls" (whatever the hell that means), but NOT that old....
We're about to make waves after years and generations of being the power behind the throne.
